I just found a Facebook page that is celebrating Halloween right now, in December. It's straightforwardly called Halloween in December. The admin has declared that Halloween is now December 7-14, but we hope that doesn't mean the end of the fun on the 14th. The posts contain artworks of ghosts, witches, and your other favorite Halloween characters taking part in traditional Christmas activities, plus links to Halloween stories and events you can enjoy in midwinter, and even creepy Christmas gifts for Halloween fans. And memes, plenty of memes.
After all, you can find plenty of horror in Christmas if you know where to look. Ebenezer Scrooge was haunted by four ghosts in one night! Krampus provides plenty of horror as the anti-St. Nicholas. And many of our most beloved horror stories only need a tiny bit of tweaking to turn them into Christmas tales.
These are just a taste of the Halloween hijinks you'll find at Halloween in December. ā
