Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World is Returning in 2022

You might want to plan a fall getaway to Florida, because after a two-year absence, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled for 2022, and tickets are available now! The traditional separate-admission event began at Disney World in 1995 as a response to nearby Universal Studios Halloween celebration that is more geared to adults, with very scary attractions. The Disney World party was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, and scaled back to a smaller event in 2021, but the Halloween party is now ready to return August 12th, as part of Disney World's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The party begins at seven each scheduled night, but ticket holders can enter the Magic Kingdom at four to enjoy some everyday Disney fun. Then the event runs until midnight, with a Halloween parade, stage shows, trick-or-treating, a fireworks and laser light show, and entertainment all around the park. According to the posted schedule, the party will happen on Tuesdays and Fridays in August, more often in September, and 18 nights in October. If you want to go, keep in mind that the number of tickets for each night are limited, so the earlier you order your tickets, the better.
