The prize is a trip to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California, including airfare for two, hotel accommodations, a VIP tour of the house, a catered dining experience in one of Sarah Winchester's dining rooms, and a nighttime seance with a professional medium. Pretty cool, huh?
The Winchester Mystery House was built by Sarah Winchester after her husband William Winchester died. She spent 30 years adding rooms until there were over 100, with eccentric architecture like stairs that led nowhere, multiple levels on the same floor, and inch-deep closets. Some say that she wanted to spend all the money her husband had made selling Winchester rifles to atone for the damage they had done. Most agree that there was some form of mental illness involved. The homes is preserved as a tourist attraction.
